"The reason why you're creating a website" - I think people sometimes forget to think through why they're doing it. 2. "Privacy/data protection" - like Accessibility, this is a legal requirement in many countries and a moral requirement in all of them. 3. "Internationalisation/localisation" - it's a World Wide Web and it's a good idea to think about whether you want to serve an international audience, or strictly a local one, or what mixture of those.
